Why Should Certified Organic Coffee Matter to You?

A recent study by the University of Copenhagen reported that Organically grown food had no more nutritional value than non-Organically grown food. While this study my argue no difference in nutritional value, it does not take into account health safety and taste. Since coffee is grown in countries that use many internationally banned pesticides, it is important to drink only Certified Organic coffee. Also this study doesn’t take into account the lost flavor of non-organic coffee from these pesticides. So, Relax and Enjoy the Best Cup of Coffee, without worrying about long-term damage to your health. Still not convinced? Learn more about organic coffee beans and why organic coffee is important.

What Shade-Grown Farming means to You?

Shade-Grown coffee ensures that the coffee is grown naturally on a small farm.Big agribusiness farms clear-cut their land and then grow the coffee in rows of open land. This actually enables the coffee to grow faster and cheaper for the business. What this gives you, however, is a more acidic and poorer tasting coffee due to growing unnaturally fast. Shade-Grown Coffee enables the coffee to grow slower, creating a fuller, richer taste in your cup without the stomach-ripping acidity that keeps you up at night.
